Partnerships

For Anglican Care Waiapu, partnership is journeying together – the strategic anchor which forms part of our strategic focus known as ‘Towards 2020’. Journeying together is about building effective relationships and recognising how they can make lasting changes in our communities.

We are committed to strengthening our current partnerships and developing new ones. Contact us if you would like know more or build a relationship with us.

Growing Through Grief

Growing Through Grief is a grief therapy programme for children and young people who have issues with unresolved grief. Growing Through Grief delivers the Seasons for Growth® programme for these children through a network of volunteers that are managed by a co-ordinator and overseen by an Anglican Parish committee.

Anglican Care Waiapu supports this service by employing the Co-ordinators and supporting the parish committees with back-office services and training. Visit our Grief Service page for more information.

Seasons for Growth® Programme

The Seasons for Growth Programme is wholly owned by Good Grief Limited – Catholic Social Services, Australia.  The Catholic Archdiocese of Wellington manages and oversees the Licence for Seasons for Growth® in New Zealand on behalf of Good Grief Limited.  Anglican Care Waiapu is granted rights to be an Agency to deliver and promote the programme in the Diocese of Waiapu.

The Seasons for Growth Programme is a non-religious programme that helps children and young people learn to cope with unresolved grief in structured and peer based group setting.

Visit our Grief Service page for more information.
