Anglican Care Waiapu
Anglican Care Waiapu is the social services arm of the Anglican Diocese of Waiapu. We partner with our parishes and communities to nurture lasting transformation. The Waiapu diocese is made up of 33 parishes, located from Tararua in the south up to Bay of Plenty in the north, incorporating Taupō to the west and Tairāwhiti to the east. Our Waiapu parishes have a long and rich history of community service and engagement.
Do you have:
- expert knowledge of current best practice in education?
- a well-developed understanding of the cultural context of learning needs with a focus on supporting educational outcomes for priority learners?
- sound knowledge of current early childhood pedagogy and Te Whāriki
If you answered yes to all these questions, and you are ready take on a new challenge, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Anglican Care Waiapu team. A new two year fixed-term Practice Lead Education role has been created to support our education services so that all children engaged in our services can experience success. We have an incredible group of ECE Centre Managers and teachers across our six centres and Oscar programmes who are committed to the children, tamariki and whānau we serve.
This part-time role of 10-20 hours a week (negotiable) can be based in either Napier or Papamoa, with frequent travel throughout the Waiapu Diocese required.
We are looking for a New Zealand qualified registered ECE teacher holding a current practice certificate with experience at a senior level. You will also bring your warm personality and professional work ethic.
